Thank you to our January 2012 Nanaimo Volunteers!!!

Nanaimo's January Spud managed to stay dry till the last half hour or our serving there and we had a great time! Then it was Scotch Mist! We decided to tuff it out...as many live in this outside daily!! We are soo blessed to have a warm, safe, and dry place to be!

Let's hold the vision that EVERYONE on the PLANET has this for 2012! It IS POSSIBLE!

Lots of volunteers and Gord Fuller even came with BOXES of bagged mixed greens for everyone to get their NEW YEARS resolutions started to eat more veggies!!! THANKS GORD! We had lots of goodies, water, fruit and oh...LOTS OF PIPING HOT SPUDS with all the trimmings. Just a note to those that are cooking them. Please side on OVERCOOKING as opposed to undercooking them. We are getting quite a few that are not done. YES..my chickens are happy about that...but the SPUDDERS aren't!

Thanks to those that came to volunteer which included: Wendy Bazant, Ziera and Julie Vandenberg, Leanne Raines, Stella Lima, Kate and Steen Pederson, Roxanne Meridith, Natilie and Lloyd Welburn, Lianne Smithiuck, Roy and Christine Jeglum and Mathew Jaques and those that came early and dropped off food and fixins that I forgot to write your names down!
